Course Summary

The course will support up to 4-6 students and is designed for students seeking to develop skills to enhance their employment opportunities.

Who Is It For?

Our Life course is for young people aged 14+ who would like to get a broad range of experience aimed at enhancing their employment opportunities.

What's Included?

  • Training delivered by an experienced Barista Tutor and Café Owner
  • Vocational-based ‘hands on’ learning in a café environment
  • Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
  • Work experience - Community Café sessions, participating in a full café service
  • Visit to a Coffee Roastery & local Barista venues
  • Preparation of a personal learning portfolio, including CV writing/interview techniques
  • Level 1 Diploma in Barista Foundation
