Develop Outdoors Courses

What We Offer

Develop Outdoors offers a range of courses for children (5-10 years) and young people (11-16 years).

Our focus is on providing nurturing support to children and young people alongside a curriculum of activities that allows each one to achieve.

Our curriculum aims to practically support students in a range of ways; offering support for well-being and social and emotional development, alongside developing their skills and talents across the wider curriculum enabling them to transition in the future into further education settings or the workplace.
Primary Forest School Provision

This provision is offered to children aged 5-11 who are struggling to access mainstream education and/or are at risk of social or academic exclusion.

We provide a learner-led programme that nurtures children’s personal development, builds practical forest school skills and fosters connection with nature in a fully outdoor learning environment.

Following the unique interests of the child, children have the opportunity to work towards their Forest School Bronze Award, based on AQA Unit Awards, gaining knowledge in nature and outdoor skills.
